I have decided to add a meal planner's section at the top of the page. There I will be adding my weekly meal planners, as I thought they might be useful for some of you. I know I used to do a daily meal planner, but I thought it would be better this way. Feel free to tell me if you would like me to start doing the daily planner's again though.
Meal planning is vital for me. If I don't meal plan every week, then I am at risk of falling off the wagon. Entering a kitchen and not knowing what you are about to cook, can be deadly. As I find it is while you are stood there deciding what to cook, is the time when you are most likely to grab for something naughty.
So my advice to anyone struggling at the moment and needing to seriously get back on track. Gather all your recipes and get planning. 🙂
The other good thing about it is that it will save you heaps of money on your shopping bill too. As you can write out a list of exactly what you need and buy those items only.
On my meal planner's as I start to add them week by week, you will notice I have some days were I will have the same meal two days running. I tend to do this at least once a week, as it means that I get a break from constantly cooking in my kitchen lol. Of course if you would prefer to have something different every day, then you can switch that meal for your own choice.
Either way I hope they will be of some benefit to you all.
I will also be doing some updating of my blog very soon. To make the layout of it a lot more user-friendly for finding stuff etc. Especially when it comes to recipes. It wasn't so bad when I first started this blog as I only had a handful of recipes, but now my list is accumulating. lol
You can probably tell that I love cooking, of course I do. It is one of the reasons I became overweight in the first place. But now of course with the help of slimming world. I can still cook lots of yummy and filling meals and LOSE weight.
