Ingredients Notes
To prepare this yummy recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
- Wild Salmon Fillets – Lower in fat and calories than farmed salmon, with a firmer texture and richer flavour. Regular salmon works too if that’s what you have on hand!
- Salt and Pepper – Enhances the natural flavour of the salmon and balances the glaze.
- Raspberry Jam – Adds a touch of sweetness and helps create a sticky, glossy coating.
- Soy Sauce – Brings a savoury, umami depth that balances the sweet and spicy notes.
- Sriracha – For a bit of heat to complement the sweetness. Adjust to suit your spice preference.
- Grated Fresh Ginger – Adds warmth and a fresh, zesty kick that brightens the glaze.
- Olive Oil Spray – A light mist of spray helps ensure the salmon cooks beautifully without adding extra calories or fat.
- Coriander - optional as a garnish for a pop of colour and flavour
Once you've gathered all the ingredients and prepared them accordingly, you're all set to create this easy and delightful recipe.

Tips for Cooking in the Air Fryer
Here are a few tips for cooking in the air fryer.
- Parchment Paper for Easy Clean-Up – While air fryers often come with a crisp plate, I prefer to use a sheet of parchment paper. It makes clean-up much easier and helps keep any marinade that drains off the salmon while cooking, soaking back into the fish for extra flavour.
- Spoon the Marinade – Spoon the marinade generously over the salmon fillets before placing them in the air fryer. This ensures the salmon is coated in the flavourful sauce, and as it cooks, the glaze will cling beautifully to the fish.
- Spray with Olive Oil Spray – Lightly spray the salmon with olive oil spray before cooking. This helps the glaze set and gives the salmon a nice finish, adding a touch of crispness without extra fat.
- Don’t Overcrowd – Make sure there’s enough space around each fillet for air to circulate. This helps the salmon cook evenly and develop a nicely crisped exterior.
- Check for Doneness – Air fryers cook quickly, so keep an eye on the salmon. It should be opaque and flake easily with a fork. If you prefer a crispier finish, cook it for an extra minute or two.
Converting to the Oven
If you don’t have an air fryer, you can still try this recipe in the oven. As a general guideline, when converting air fryer recipes to the oven, increase the temperature by about 25°F (15°C) and extend the cooking time by around 20%. Keep in mind that all ovens can vary, so you may need to adjust based on your own oven’s performance.
For this recipe, try baking the salmon at 400°F (200°C) for approximately 10–12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. However, this method has only been tested in an air fryer, so results may differ slightly in the oven. Keep an eye on it to avoid overcooking, and adjust as needed!

The more you cook, the easier it will be to find the perfect temperature and time for your setup.

Sides for Air Fryer Raspberry Sriracha Salmon
This flavour-packed salmon pairs beautifully with a variety of sides. I love serving it with sticky jasmine rice and sautéed or air-fried seasoned zucchini (courgette), I like to toss the zucchini with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then lightly spray it with olive oil before air frying or sautéing until golden. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh coriander leaves for a burst of flavour.
Here are a few more ideas to complete your meal:
- Crispy Potatoes – Roast or air fry until golden and crunchy for a deliciously satisfying side.
- Stir-Fried Veggies – A quick mix of bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas with a splash of soy sauce makes for a perfect complement.
- Roasted Vegetables – Try broccoli, carrots, or green beans tossed in olive oil and roasted until tender.
- Cauliflower Rice – A great low-carb option that soaks up the glaze nicely.
- Cucumber Salad – A light, refreshing side with a bit of crunch to balance the rich salmon.
- Quinoa or Brown Rice – For a heartier option with more fibre.
Mix and match your favourites to create a satisfying and well-rounded meal!
