I was in the US the other weekend and we popped into Trader Joes to get some store cupboard stuff to bring back. I noticed these and thought I must try them.
You basically make them up with Fat Free yoghurt, pour the mixture into a greased baking tray and bake in the oven for 30 minutes and the result is a very yummy and filling brownie, crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. They are delicious served with Strawberries and light cream. The box makes 12 brownies.
The box:
The baked result (cooling on wire tray).
The mixture makes 12 decent sized brownies, but hubby and son had scoffed one each before I even got a chance to take a picture lol. They did comment that they are very nice served warm though.
Here is my serving with Strawberries and light cream.
They are widely available in the US and Canada, but not sure if they can be obtained in the UK.
A reader of my blog (thanks Kelly) found this recipe version online:

Is that 6 syns for the whole pack or 6 syns per brownie? Either way I need to go find this in Calgary! :o) Thanks!

6 syns per brownie. The box makes 12. Well worth it in my opinion as they are scrummy. Nice and gooey on the inside. You can get different flavoured ones too, Mint and Raspberry.
