  1. Hi Brit Mum,

I was checing out your meal planner which is fab but i couldn’t find the recipe for chicken fingers or curried chicken salad on the blog. Could you let me know where i could get hold of them please??

    many thanks

    Sejal

  2. Hiya,

The meal planner is for this week, so some of the things I haven’t made yet, so therefore the recipes are not yet on my blog. You will find heaps of other recipes for now though.. The chicken fingers recipe will be going up on my blog today as I am having those for lunch ;) , and the curried chicken salad recipe will be added later in the week ;)

  3. Hi Brit mum,

I absolutely love your blog, and find it very inspiring.

I have printed off your recipes and placed them in a folder so that I can start to use them. Can I ask where you get your recipes from, do you convert from books, the internet etc or are they your own ones.

    Keep up the good work.

    Michelle

  4. Most are my own, some I get from books and adapt them to my liking and to make them low fat and healthy.

I am glad you like my blog. Thank you for the comment.

  5. Hi,

just clicked on your link by accident really and its great :O)

I thought it was a SW website at first, you should get paid for this!

well done, and thanks for sharing!

  6. thank you for your lovely comment :)

It is kind of a slimming world website I suppose lol, as it my recipes shared to everyone, while I follow the extra easy plan ;)

  7. Hiya
Just came over from Ivillage and think that your recipes look fab. I often adapt recipes myself but sometimes I just get stuck in a rut when it comes to idea’s for meals, especially lunches.

I will deffinately be trying the cheesecake. I am gonna go and have a look through the rest of the recipes now.

    Thanks for sharing
    Becky

  8. Im confused about the spud and beans being 1 syn? I thought beans and spuds are free food?

  9. is for low fat spread on my potato ;)

  10. do you ever use red and green or just extra easy.
I find extra easy does not suit me as much as red days with the occasional green

  11. I do just extra easy, I have tried red or green, but always go back to extra easy, as it is so much easier being able to have both together. You could easily adapt most of my recipes for either plan though.

  12. Wow!!, just stumbled across your blog, what a fantastic site, I love your recipes – they look amazing.

Just cooking one of your recipes as I type. Can’t wait to try it. yum.

    Keep up the good work.

    Lyn

  13. Have just touched on you site by accident today and can’t believe how many great recipes are there. Congratulations. Pity you could not do some for red or green days as well however can easily adapt some to suit. Many thanks for sharing with us.

  14. For your breakfasts, do you make the Turkey Breakfast Pattie yourself, if so what is the recipe

  15. I buy them here, they are quite low synned, all other sausages here are highly synned. I believe morrisons eat smart sausages are syn free, if that helps.

  16. Hi

How did you get the syn value for the sushi? I love sushi but am unsure how to syn it.

  17. just look at the nutritional information on the back, put it into the syn calculator, selecting your main free foods in the ingredients, i.e. fish and rice and it will give you the syn value.

or if you search the syns online guide, it has the syn value for different types of sushi per weight. :)

  18. I just wanted to say how l love your blog!

I am always on here checking for new menu’s & have already tried out so many of your dishes – yet to make something I don’t love!!

Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into the site – it is much appreciated :)

  19. Fabulous site, trying to get my head around Slimming world ( confusing too say least) recipes and meal planner great help – thanks

  20. hey all

is bulgar wheat syn free like couscous?

  21. yes it is syn free :)

  22. Inspiration, found you on twitter, what a nice person for sharing. I’m not a pudding person but am going to try the cheese cake out on my boyfriend… Thanks :)
