It's a favourite when I have nothing else prepared and the kids are hungry and I need to put together something fast. Not only is it quick to make, but it is tastes amazing. Fresh tomatoes, on the other hand, don't have that at all, when made into a sauce like in this Tomato and Garlic Pasta, they are sweet and flavoursome, especially when matched with some garlic, onion, herbs and seasoning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/tomato-and-garlic-pasta-14.jpg\" alt=\"Tomato and Garlic Pasta - simple and fresh ingredients for a delicious meal in less than 30 minutes - gluten free, dairy free, vegan, Slimming Eats and Weight Watchers friendly | www.slimmingeats.com \" class=\"wp-image-20321\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don't even bother blanching my tomatoes to remove the skin. If you invest in a handy little peeler like this <span style=\"color: #874149;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #874149;\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2p2rwR8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kuhn Piranha Serrated Peeler<\/a><\/strong><\/span> - peeling tomatoes or any other vegetable\/fruit with a soft skin will be effortless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have a healthy extra a spare, a little-grated parmesan is perfect over this pasta dish, but don't worry the parmesan is totally optional, this Tomato and Garlic Pasta are equally delicious
