Add the chicken thighs, season with salt and black pepper and fry until golden.<\/li><li data-step-index=\"4\" id=\"mv_create_883_5\">Add the asparagus, milk, stock, thyme, dijon mustard and cream cheese and stir until the cream cheese has fully melted into the sauce.<\/li><li data-step-index=\"5\" id=\"mv_create_883_6\">Mix the cornstarch with a little cold water until smooth, then stir this into the pan. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until the sauce thickens.<\/li><li data-step-index=\"6\" id=\"mv_create_883_7\">Taste and season with a little extra salt and black pepper if needed.<\/li><li data-step-index=\"7\" id=\"mv_create_883_8\">Add the filling to an ovenproof dish and top evenly with the potatoes.
