White rice or refined grains will\u00a0cook quicker than whole grains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the below mixed grain blend, I mixed up brown rice, kamut, spelt, barley and some red lentils and then I also had a little bit of wild rice\/basmati mix left in a bag so added that in too, as well as some millet.
