So decided to try it out myself with my own recipe.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">This was the result - Delicious!!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_0373.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0373\" title=\"DSC_0373\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial Black; font-size: medium;\">Mozzarella, Red Pesto and Onion Topped Burgers on Portobello Mushrooms<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>Slimming Eats Recipe<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Serves 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\"><strong><u>Ingredients<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">200g of extra lean beef mince<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">1 egg, beaten<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">1 teaspoon of paprika<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 teaspoon of mixed herbs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bd teapoon of garlic powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bd teaspoon of onion powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">splash of worcestershire sauce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">salt and black pepper<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">2 slices of red onion, (taken from one large red onion)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">2 slices of tomato (take from one large beefsteak tomato, or similar large tomato)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">90g of Part Skimmed Mozzarella Cheese<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">1 tablespoon of red pesto<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">2 portobello mushrooms<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">freshly chopped basil or Italian parsley to serve<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">Frylight or Pam spray<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\"><strong><u>Method<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; font-size: small;\">In a large bowl, add the mince, paprika, herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper and a splash of worcestershire sauce.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_0336.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0336\" title=\"DSC_0336\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Combine ingredients together well, add a little bit of the beaten egg at a time, until the mixture when formed together holds well (you may not need all of the egg).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Form into two equal sized patties, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for a few hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preheat oven to 180c or 350f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spray a grill pan over a medium high heat with some Frylight or Pam spray and add the burgers and onion slices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_0339.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0339\" title=\"DSC_0339\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cook until both sides are browned<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_0345.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0345\" title=\"DSC_0345\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On a foil line baking tray, stack your burgers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lay a tomato slice on first, then the burger, an onion slice, \u00bd tablespoon of red pesto and 45g of cheese. Repeat this for the second burger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_0351.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0351\" title=\"DSC_0351\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place in the oven and bake until cheese has melted on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the meantime, respray your grill pan with Frylight or Pam spray and grill your Portobello Mushrooms.
