Basically, anything I can drizzle with <span style=\"color: #874149;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #874149;\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2DiXwsW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Maple Syrup<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ever since I moved to Canada I love that stuff - oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, whatever I can drizzle it on I will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"680\" height=\"1027\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/french-toast-1.jpg\" alt=\"Perfect French Toast with Mixed Berries and Maple Syrup - simple ingredients for a delicious quick and easy breakfast - dairy free, vegetarian, Slimming Eats and Weight Watchers friendly | www.slimmingeats.com\" class=\"wp-image-20117\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/french-toast-1.jpg 680w, https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/french-toast-1-199x300.jpg 199w, https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/french-toast-1-678x1024.jpg 678w, https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/french-toast-1-560x846.jpg 560w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I usually pick up a big 1-litre jug of the&nbsp;<strong><span id=\"productTitle\" style=\"color: #874149;\"><a style=\"color: #874149;\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2cDHslv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Kirkland Signature Canadian Maple Syrup<\/a><\/span><\/strong><span id=\"productTitle\">&nbsp;whenever we go to Costco, which is usually a once a month <\/span><span id=\"productTitle\">occurrence, to stock up on various other items. I love that place. I use&nbsp;<strong><span style=\"color: #874149;\"><a style=\"color: #874149;\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2n1mTrq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sukrin: 1<\/a><\/span>&nbsp;<\/strong>which is&nbsp;a great natural tasting sweetener that can be ordered on can be ordered on&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #874149;\"><a style=\"color: #874149;\" href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2n1mTrq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Amazon<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span>&nbsp;I have tried many different types of sweetener in the past&nbsp;trying to find one that is natural and tastes natural and I think this is it. I usually just use some honey or maple syrup, but it's nice to know I can now use this and reduce even further. Instead of Sukrin, you can use any sweetener of choice. This is just my preferred option because of the now aftertaste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_7528-e1476197544716.jpg\" alt=\"Slimming Eats Orange and Chocolate Halloween Cupcakes - vegetarian, Slimming Eats and Weight Watchers friendly\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>In this recipe, however, we are only using 1-2 teaspoon depending on your sweetness level, which is less than a tablespoon, so we don't need to worry about  that at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You could totally skip the maple syrup for drizzling over the top, but it really feels decadent along with the plain Greek yoghurt and mixed berries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also give a teeny little dusting of icing sugar, so teeny that it will be negligible.
