Which I pipped on (It looks pretty right?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One little trick I have learned when doing a mashed potato topping for a pie, is to add eggs, they ensure it gets a nice golden topping without having to use butter. You will see me do that in quite a few recipes on here where I use mashed potato for a topping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the sauce I used a mixture of milk, stock, laughing cow and corn starch. I used this combination previously in my <span style=\"color: #874149;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #874149;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/chicken-and-asparagus-no-pastry-pie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chicken and Asparagus 'No Pastry' Pie<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and it works amazingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So delicious!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You could try without the laughing cow, but I think they add to the flavour of the sauce, giving it a creamy taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When making this recipe I like to use 4 mini oven proof dishes, but you can use one big oven proof dish if you prefer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"679\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/DSC_0926-3.jpg\" alt=\"Slimming Eats Chicken and Leek Pie - gluten free,  Slimming Eats and Weight Watchers friendly\" class=\"wp-image-11143\" title=\"Slimming Eats Chicken and Leek Pie - gluten free,  Slimming Eats and Weight Watchers friendly\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/DSC_0926-3.jpg 679w, https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/DSC_0926-3-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.slimmingeats.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/DSC_0926-3-560x371.jpg 560w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 679px) 100vw, 679px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can place under the grill for the last few mins, to make more golden on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serve with your choice of vegetables.
