Soft, Medium, Hard Instant Pot Boiled Eggs

This recipe is gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, paleo, whole30 and Weight Watchers friendly.

Cook Time 3 minutes
Total Time 8 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg (or more if you desire), refrigerated
  • 1 cup of cold water (this remains the same regardless of quantity)
  • Seasoning: salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the trivet/steamer rack to instant pot
  2. Add 1 cup of cold water
  3. Place egg/eggs on trivet
  4. Add lid and close valve.
  5. Set to manual, high pressure
  6. Select 3 mins for soft dippy boiled egg
  7. Select 5 mins for soft boiled egg
  8. Select 8 mins for medium egg
  9. Select 10 mins for hard boiled egg
  10. Quick pressure release on all and place into a bowl of ice cold water if not consuming right away
  11. When eating, season with salt and black pepper as desired.
  12. The dippy eggs are great with toast soldier, asparagus spears, bacon or sausage for dipping.
