Low Sugar Ketchup
  • ⅔ cup (160ml) of tomato paste
  • ⅔ cup (160ml) of water
  • ¼ cup (60ml) of white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (5 syns)
  • ½ tsp of onion powder
  • ¼ tsp of garlic powder
  • season with salt to taste
  1. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan, whisk all ingredients together
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 15 mins.
  3. Season to taste with salt
  4. Add to a jar or sealable bottle and store in the fridge
  5. You can add some cayenne or chilli powder to this for a spicy ketchup
