Low Syn Pumpkin Granola

This recipe is gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, Slimming World and Weight Watchers friendly

Extra Easy - 1 HEb and 2 syns per serving
Green - 1 HEb and 2 syns per servng
Original - 1 HEb and 2 syns per serving
WW Smart Points - 7
Gluten Free - use gluten-free oats
  • 120g/4oz of oatmeal- 3xHEb
  • ½ cup/120ml of pumpkin puree
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 3 tbs of maple syrup - 6 syns
  • spray oil
  1. Preheat oven to 180c/350f (gas mark 4)
  2. Add the oats to a bowl, with the pumpkin puree, maple syrup and pinch of cinnamon
  3. Mix together thoroughly
  4. Spread out in a thin layer on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spray over the top with spray oil
  6. Place in the oven and bake for 15 mins
  7. Remove stir and break up large pieces, spray over the top again with spray oil and bake for another 15 mins
  8. The granola should be nice and golden and crisp, if it isn't ready, place bake in the oven and check every 5 mins until cooked.
  9. Store in a lidded jar.
NOTE: In the US a HEb serving of Oats is slightly less than the UK, so adjust according, reducing the pumpkin puree to ⅓ cup (80ml)
