I have developed a bit of addiction over the last few days. I bought a huge bag of ruby red grapefruits when doing my grocery shopping this week and now I can’t get enough of them. They are so nice sprinkled with a little bit of sweetener and take away any sweet cravings I may have.
Also, grapefruits are supposedly great for boosting weight loss, and although it was thought to be a myth, it is now in fact believed to be true.
Eating some grapefruit with every meal, is thought to help break down body fat, so I have decided to give it a trial and see what happens. At every meal time I will have half a grapefruit and will see if it makes my weight loss any better (I normally lose 1 2lbs a week). I am half way through a week at the moment, as my weigh day is Tuesdays, so I will continue for a week and a half to see the true benefits (if any).
Even if it does nothing, I am having something I enjoy, so it doesnt really matter. Unless of course I get sick to death of grapefruits in the process. lol – Watch this space!!!
