Everything you love about breakfast, all made into this delicious Breakfast Quiche for a quick grab and go breakfast on hectic busy mornings.
This yummy recipe that was previously published on Slimming Eats has been improved and updated
This was one of those genius moments. I was about to cook a full breakfast when I spotted some sausages that needed to be used up. So I layered all the components of a great breakfast and the result was amazing!!
Packed with protein, so it is really high satiety and it doesn’t use up your healthy extra b choice, leaving it free to use elsewhere in the day – yay!!

Syn value in this Breakfast Quiche will totally depend on the type of sausages you use. For this, I use some low syn breakfast sausages which are 2.5. syns for 3. They are pretty small but work perfectly in this quiche. Bear in mind the syn value of this quiche will need to be adjusted as per the sausages you use.
The cheddar on top is totally optional, if you don’t want to use up your healthy extra, then you can omit, but personally, I find it just adds that little bit extra to this.
Want to make this even more epic? Add in a layer of these Syn Free Hash Browns broken up into pieces – yum!!
How can I add a 1/3 speed foods to this Breakfast Quiche?
There are some mushrooms, onion and tomato in the quiche that will add to your 1/3 speed foods, but you can up those even further by adding in some additional vegetables like some chopped fresh spinach or serve it alongside these balsamic tomatoes which are delicious.

I love breakfast, my favorite meal of the day! This looks fabulous ๐ย
Can this be eaten as part of the Green plan too? x
it sure can, but you would either need to syn the sausages, leave them out or use a vegetarian alternative.
Thanks, thought that was the case but just wanted to be sure ๐
Made this for breakfast this morning and used some Linda McCartney vegetarian sausages to keep it free on Green… it was lovely… another winner ๐
Can’t get enough of this. Always loved quiche and even though I don’t like cottage cheese this rocks. Fast and easy to make. Even yummier when made with onions oven roasted in their skins. Works well with turkey bacon too and that lowers the syns.
Where does the cottage cheese fit in? It is not mentioned in the ingredients at all.
No cottage cheese in the recipe any more, itโs just as per the recipe.
You say this serves 4 but your photos show it divided by 7 – which is it please? Can we eat 1/4 of the whole? I’m confused……
A quarter of the whole Quiche is 1 serving
Made this with vegetarian sausages and left out the onion. The kids helped. We really enjoyed it.
How long would this keep in the fridge?xx
About 3 days should be okay.
Excited to try this !
Yummy quiche! I used some leftover cooked meatballs (Slimming World, syn free, from Iceland) instead of sausages. Will make this again.
Can this be frozen in individual slices and reheated?
yep I am sure that will work fine ๐
you mention greek yogurt – do you use fat free or is it just regular greek yogurt?
yes, it’s fat free – enjoy ๐
Loved it. Light and fluffy texture. This could become a new favourite!
