this is the recipe from the slimming world magazine 2010 calendar that came free with it.
I adapted the recipe ever so slightly. It was really lovely.

Ingredients
500g of extra lean beef mince
1 onion finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic crushed
1 large carrot chopped
half cup of frozen peas
half cup of frozen sweetcorn
250ml of beef stock
1 heaped teaspoon of marmite
1 teaspoon of thyme
dash of balsamic vinegar

wooohoooooo jumped on the scales for my weight loss for the week and it is 4lbs off. Hoorrrrrrrah!!!

Ingredients
syn free recipe of Extra Easy
500g of lean round steak
Frylight
1 onion sliced
3 garlic cloves crushed
2 teaspoons of cumin
1 teaspoon of dried thyme leaves
2 bay leaves
400g tin of tomatoes or passata
2 large carrots thickly sliced
4 courgettes thickly sliced
250g mushrooms halved
1 small sweet potato chopped
375ml of water
1 beef stock cube
splash of balsamic vinegar

Ingredients
Serve 1 – 2 syns
Single Portion of Linguine Pasta
1 tablespoon of red pesto sauce
Mushrooms
2 slices of bacon
1 small onion
42g of reduced fat cheese
Method
Cook pasta as per instructions
Then in a frying pan sprayed with frylight, cooked the mushrooms, bacon and onion until golden brown.
Once pasta is cooked, stir in the 1 tablespoon of red pest

Ingredients
2 salmon steaks/or fillet portions
2 tablespoons of extra light mayo
2 teaspoons of dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Method
Preheat oven to 180c or 350f
In a bowl mix together the mayo, mustard and salt
Place salmon portions on a foil lined tray
Spread mayo mixture over the top.
